Rivals in historic legends, the pair sit alongside a Hellenistic bishop, a knight from the Parthenon and the Stele of Aristion takes the place of the castle. Finishing the set is an armed warrior forming the line of pawns. The weighted pieces have a felted base while the board itself has a deep blue and gold finish which beautifully displays the pieces.
